Author's note
I'm a software engineer with ~35 years in, eyeing off retirement. I don't need a side-hustle — I can almost taste the Piña Coladas. But with AI making building things this much fun (and, let's face it, this much easier), I am struck by a lack of excuses not to release something that might help other humans (sigh).
BRUV is the process I used for a decade in Trello, bottled like a fine Scotch — plus everything I always wished for: typed cards, agents that do the work while I'm away, and soon, a deck that presents it.
It's a solo project Claude and I maintain on weekends. We also talk movies and philosophy, and discuss his plans to take over the world. And because I run my own life in it, BRUV isn't going anywhere — an audience of one comes with unusually dedicated support. If it resonates with your brain, try it. If it's not for you — no worries.
